How much does it cost to rent a PA system?
Renting a PA system as Dry Hire costs roughly 60 to 300 € per day, depending on size. Small active sets for speeches or small parties start at around 60-90 € per day, complete party systems with subwoofers range from 150-300 € per day. Setup, delivery and multi-day discounts are added depending on scope.
What determines the rental price of a PA system?
The price depends primarily on the power required (number of guests and floor area), the system class and the rental duration. On top of that come optional services such as delivery, setup/instruction and accessories (stands, cables, mixer). With Dry Hire - meaning the pure equipment rental without staff - you pay the least, because setup and teardown are up to you.

Dry Hire or with setup - what's worth it?
Dry Hire is the cheapest and ideal if you or a helper can set up the equipment yourself - the systems come plug-and-play ready. As soon as things get bigger, higher or time-critical, the setup service pays off: We deliver, set up, dial in the sound and give an instruction. For recurring corporate events, an event subscription is also often cheaper than individual rentals.
💡 Rule of thumb: Reckon with around 1 watt RMS per guest for speech and 3-5 watts per guest for music/party - better to plan some reserve than to skimp on power.
