Rent event technology for your birthday
For a birthday party you usually just need a PA system with a subwoofer, a DJ controller or music setup and a bit of party lighting. For up to 100 guests you should plan for around 2× 700–1,000 watts. As Dry Hire, a complete party set costs roughly 150 to 350 € per day depending on size – plug-and-play for self-setup.
Whether it's a milestone birthday at the clubhouse or a garden party: with the right set, any room turns into a party venue. We put together a suitable system that you can set up yourself – or we deliver and install it, if you'd rather not worry about a thing.
The key is the right power for the room and number of guests: for danceable music, a good rule of thumb is around 3–5 watts RMS per guest. A subwoofer delivers the punch you need on the dance floor.
A few battery-powered uplights and one or two effect lights make all the visual difference – with little effort and no extra cabling.

Planning tips
- Go one size bigger with the sound – headroom sounds cleaner when the room fills up.
- Check the power supply, especially for garden parties with extension leads.
- A playlist or a laptop is enough – a DJ controller is included.
- Effect lighting works best when the room can be darkened.
