Open-air events need a powerful, weatherproof sound system with sufficient reach, usually a stage with rigging for lighting and sound, plus suitable power distribution. Without walls there is no reverberation, so more power is needed than indoors. Scope and price depend heavily on the area and audience – we calculate open-air setups individually.
Town fair, summer concert, club anniversary or festival: under the open sky, different rules apply. Sound disperses, weather and power become an issue, and a safe stage and rigging construction is a must. We plan open-air technology from a manageable stage to a larger Line-Array – including delivery, setup and on-site support.
For the sound, reach is what counts: depending on the area and audience size, larger multi-way systems or a Line-Array come into play. We plan speech and music separately so that both carry cleanly.
Power is the second critical point: we assess the demand and plan distribution and protection. Safety and load specifications apply to the stage and trusses, which we factor in.
